Film: Jane Austen Wrecked My Life (15)
SpArC Theatre, Shropshire, SY9 5AY

6.2 IMDB
"witty, well-played comedy in a Bridget Jones vein
Camille Rutherford is endearing as a writer who wins a place on a Jane Austen retreat, but will she discover love or something more realistic?" The Guardian
Romantic comedy about Agathe, a Paris bookseller and aspiring author, whose unexpected acceptance to an English Jane Austen–themed writing retreat pushes her beyond her comfort zone and into charming, sometimes awkward encounters. Blending French and English, it’s a gentle, witty, and heartfelt ode to literature, creativity, and self-discovery. Summer feel good film.
