Southeast-Hampshire Youth Orchestra (SHYO) Workshop – Sunday 17th January 2027 Led by conductor Ben Qureshi

Join SHYO for a new orchestral workshop experience, bringing together young musicians for a full day of rehearsal, learning and performance.

The day will include:

• Full orchestra rehearsals led by conductor Ben Qureshi
• The opportunity to explore and perform a major symphonic work
• Refreshments provided during the day
• A short informal performance for friends and family at the end of the workshop

Performance for friends and family: 4:40pm
Finish: by 5:00pm at the latest

Cost: £15 per person

🎻 Instrument allocation
When purchasing your ticket, please select the orchestral part you would like to play (for example: Violin 1, Flute 2, Trumpet 1, Horn, Tuba, Percussion, etc.).

Each section has a limited number of places to ensure a balanced orchestra and the best possible experience for all participants. Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Once a section is full, that option will no longer be available.
