Southeast Sessions SEPTEMBER 2026

St Richard's Church Centre, London, SE7 7NR
Wednesday 30th September 2026
Southeast Sessions are evenings of carefully curated singer-songwriters performing in our unique venue in SE London. Inspired by Nashville’s writers rounds, they offer one of the most intimate and engaging ways to discover new music. All artists share the stage together, taking turns to perform songs and tell stories, with spontaneous collaboration, laughter, and connection throughout. No two sessions are ever the same, and every one is something special.

Our lineup for September includes James Hodder, Josie Beth, Micha Rose-Trespeuch, and Owen Morgan

James Hodder is a Kent-based troubadour blending folk and Americana with bittersweet lyrics, soulful vocals and compelling storytelling.
His distinctive, bluesy voice carries echoes of artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Jason Isbell and Jackson Browne. James is an engaging live performer, bringing warmth, humour and plenty of personality alongside the songs. We’re delighted to welcome him back to Southeast Sessions after his first appearance in November 2024.

Josie Beth is a London-based indie-pop singer-songwriter with a sensational voice and a gift for storytelling. Her songs are honest, intimate and emotionally sharp, drawing on the highs and lows of growing up, relationships and finding your place in the world. A BBC Introducing One to Watch for 2025, she brings a warmth and vulnerability to her music that makes you want to listen closely.

Micah Rose-Trespeuch is a multi-instrumentalist whose music is raw, vulnerable and deeply human. Beginning piano at four, he draws on rock, jazz, classical, metal and musical theatre to create songs that confront heartbreak, loss and the things we often struggle to say aloud. A resident accompanist at Blackheath Conservatoire, Micah brings an extraordinary breadth of musical experience to his songwriting.

Owen Morgan, host of Southeast Sessions, is a London-based singer-songwriter blending folk, roots and Americana with a little punk attitude. A natural storyteller, his songs draw on real life, strong senses of place and the people he encounters, with memorable hooks and an honest, unvarnished edge. He is also an ordained priest in the Church of England.
