Saturday 20 December 2025
‘Tis the season to be Sludgey!

Sludgemas returns with some bells on this year, as we’re hosting an all day Xmas party.
From Midday, join us at our Christmas market, where you can bag you (or your loved ones) some wonderful art, merch, vintage clothes or even a damn tattoo! While you peruse the selections of our incredible merchants, why not visit Santas Rotto, enjoy some of the live entertainment we’ll have going on or maybe slurp down a Sludgenog or two? They’re vegan, before you ask.

THEN as the clock hits 4pm, join us next door for our Sludgemas Christmas party. The longest lineup for a music showcase we’ve had to date, the evening is sure to be a cracker. We’re stoked, you should be too.

More about ACLAÍ Palestine

ACLAÍ Palestine is a community gym located in the Lajee centre in the Aida refugee camp in Bethlehem, West Bank Palestine. They opened in February 2020, providing a space for strength and movement training and circus skills for people of all ages who live in the Aida camp, and also exercise sessions for patients of the community health program run by the Lajee Center.

The Lajee Center is a grassroots organisation that provides cultural, educational, and health resources for the community, and their services currently include a community soccer pitch, a garden and playground, a kindergarten, Environmental Unit, Music and Dance Unit, Library, Media Unit, Women’s Unit, and a Community Health Workers Unit.

The team at ACLAÍ Palestine aim to have the gym be a great resource for the residents of the Aida and Alazza Camps, providing important services in a place that is being squeezed from every direction by the occupation. They strive to develop the expertise of their team, whilst working hard to get more people through their doors every week to spend a bit of time in a friendly and encouraging environment.
