Radio Blah Blah with Guy Lloyd LIVE

The Actors, Brighton, BN2 1RD
Thursday 9th July 2026
Guy Lloyd's Radio Blah Blah is a live show with a twist! Incorporating a broadcast studio and a live performance space, Guy is turning radio up to '11', with an exciting and immersive event for the good people of Brighton (Hove too!).

Remember The Tube? TFI Friday? This is the radio equivalent. Live performances from bands, solo artists, comedians, poets, you name it, anything could happen on this show. Alongside the live performances, there'll  be interviews with big names from across the city and beyond, all in front of a live audience. That live audience being you. And your friends. And family. And possibly, domestic animals (although we’d take non-domestic).

This month we welcome Moon Idle, LADSCLUB and Rock Paper Scissors.

Moon Idle blend elements of alt-rock and trip-hop to tell stories through atmosphere and detail. Industrial and energetic beats shadowed  by introspective songwriting create a sense of nostalgia and unease in every track.

LADSCLUB are a Brighton-based synth-pop duo creating euphoric electronic anthems packed with soaring melodies, infectious hooks and a healthy dose of nostalgia. Blending the spirit of classic 80s and 90s dance-pop with a modern queer perspective, their music celebrates connection, community and unapologetic joy.

Rock Paper Scissors are a four-piece alternative rock band from Brighton: Achilles (vocals, guitar), Sam (lead guitar), Charlie (bass) and Joey (drums). Formed in first year of sixth-form, the group was united by a shared love of 90s noise pop such as Sonic Youth, Smashing Pumpkins, Pixies and The Windmill post-punk scene in London. The group’s debut single “Kaleidoscope” will see release very soon.

This is a night not to be missed. Previous shows have sold out very quickly, so book your ticket now and come and join us for a night of joy, merriment and great hair.

Doors open at 6.30pm
Show starts at 7.00pm until 9.00pm
