Radio Blah Blah with Guy Lloyd LIVE

The Actors, Brighton, BN2 1RD
Thursday 1st October 2026
Guy Lloyd's Radio Blah Blah is a live show with a twist! Incorporating a broadcast studio and a live performance space, Guy is turning radio up to '11', with an exciting and immersive event for the good people of Brighton (Hove too!).

Remember The Tube? TFI Friday? This is the radio equivalent. Live performances from bands, solo artists, comedians, poets, you name it, anything could happen on this show. Alongside the live performances, there'll  be interviews with big names from across the city and beyond, all in front of a live audience. That live audience being you. And your friends. And family. And possibly, domestic animals (although we’d take non-domestic).

This month we welcome Hibbett & Christopher, The Stanford Family Band, and Tia Ice.

Hibbett & Christopher is a new piano-based collab featuring two beloved indie legends, MJ Hibbett and CJ Thorpe-Tracey — the artist formerly known as Chris T-T.With dozens of acclaimed albums and thousands of live shows under their belts since the late 1990s, Hibbett & Christopher have been friends (and occasional gig buddies) for twenty-five years. Now they join forces to sing songs at the piano, reclaiming the convivial genius of Flanders & Swan, or Hinge & Bracket, for a lost indie generation.

The Stanford Family blend classic songwriting sensibilities with a strong 60s/70s influence, drawing from the likes of The Beach Boys, Carole King and Big Star to create a sound which feels familiar yet unique. Their 2nd EP “Go Again” showcases each member of the band in songwriting/lead vocal duties to great effect.

Rooted in dub and neo-soul. Tia Ice is a Brighton based spiritual songstress. Making self-reflection sound sweet; her relaxed groove and thought provoking rhymes invite a soul lift, allowing her listeners a break from the soul shift.

This is a night not to be missed. Previous shows have sold out very quickly, so book your ticket now and come and join us for a night of joy, merriment and great hair.

Doors open at 6.30pm
Show starts at 7.00pm until 9.00pm
