Radio Blah Blah with Guy Lloyd LIVE

The Actors, Brighton, BN2 1RD
Thursday 11th June 2026
Guy Lloyd's Radio Blah Blah is a live show with a twist! Incorporating a broadcast studio and a live performance space, Guy is turning radio up to '11', with an exciting and immersive event for the good people of Brighton (Hove too!).

Remember The Tube? TFI Friday? This is the radio equivalent. Live performances from bands, solo artists, comedians, poets, you name it, anything could happen on this show. Alongside the live performances, there'll  be interviews with big names from across the city and beyond, all in front of a live audience. That live audience being you. And your friends. And family. And possibly, domestic animals (although we’d take non-domestic).

This month we welcome Boudicca, Ignoring Izzy, and Sabrina G.

Boudicca, whose namesake led a revolt against the Roman Empire, has seen that same spirit of rebellion define her life and musical output. It could come in the form of a political post punk thrasher, or a punchline laden rap track, Boudicca is truly comfortable within her potent, ever-evolving artistry.

Ignoring Izzy - Picture this: you’re in a supermarket. It’s silent. 6 kooks in dark mesh materialise from out of nowhere, armed with fringes, instruments, and a bag full of vegetables. The music starts it’s brash and chaotic. A leek flies past your face. You think nothing of it. A radish follows. It’s raining vegetables. But the singer has this witchy quality which sucks you in. You can’t leave, but you don’t want to.

Sabrina G is an artist who channels emotion, empowerment, and storytelling into her distinct blend of alternative pop and electronic soundscapes. Hailing from Brighton, SABRINA G’s music is a fusion of smooth electronica, soulful melodies, and dynamic rhythms, all revolve around her powerful, emotive vocals. Known for her ability to seamlessly transition from subtle, intimate moments to bold, anthemic choruses, her voice captivates listeners with its warmth, depth, and raw emotional intensity. SABRINA G explores themes of strength, vulnerability, and self-discovery, delivering messages of empowerment through her poetic lyricism. Her music draws inspiration from life’s challenges and triumphs, offering a relatable and immersive experience for her audience. She has also supported renowned artists such as Newton Faulkner and Maple Glider, experiences that have shaped her dynamic live performances.
