Radio Blah Blah with Guy Lloyd LIVE
The Actors, Brighton, BN2 1RD
Thursday 19th February 2026
Guy Lloyd's Radio Blah Blah is a live show with a twist! Incorporating a broadcast studio and a live performance space, Guy is turning radio up to '11', with an exciting and immersive event for the good people of Brighton (Hove too!).
Remember The Tube? TFI Friday? This is the radio equivalent. Live performances from bands, solo artists, comedians, poets, you name it, anything could happen on this show. Alongside the live performances, there'll be interviews with big names from across the city and beyond, all in front of a live audience. That live audience being you. And your friends. And family. And possibly, domestic animals (although we’d take non-domestic).
This month we welcome Lana Death Ray, Fari, and JoeJas.
Lana Death Ray is a Psych-Gaze band formed in 2023. Having released their debut EP ‘The Holy Death Ray!’ in October, the five piece have taken their fuzzed up sounds across the UK - notably headlining The Hope & Ruin in the heart of Brighton and Londons Sebright Arms. They have also featured on festival lineups such as Manchester Psych Fest, Homegrown, 234 Fest and The Eclipse.
Fari is a neo-soul singer-songwriter based in Brighton. Her main staple is looping and layering live on stage. Playing with textures and rhythm, she invites the audience into a part of her brain. Immersing the audience in a wall of sound, and harmonies in her covers and originals. A definite one to see…
JoeJas Is a rapper and producer (when producing going under the alias "HairyMuffinMan".) An off the wall and zany figure, from his production, lyrics and visuals. A renaissance man Joe handles music production, video shooting, editing directing, Art design and creative direction. All of this puts you inside his brain and welcomes you to his world. JoeJas’ albums blur the line of genre and embrace experimentation. From the debut Planet (2016), to Gappy (2018) Introducing us to the character Gappy that has been the protagonist to his discography. Four Wing Island (2020) Which won Joe the Vans Musician Wanted With praise from Anderson Paak. Gaps & Nomads (2022) and Left Handed Bandit (2025) That has seen praise from The Needle Drop Putting The Single ‘WTF.
This is a night not to be missed. Previous shows have sold out very quickly, so book your ticket now and come and join us for a night of joy, merriment and great hair.
Doors open at 6.30pm
Show starts at 7.00pm until 9.00pm
