SI Leeds Literary Prize Writers' Conference

Join us for the SI Leeds Literary Prize Writers' Conference in the inspiring setting of Arvon's newly refurbished creative writing centre in Yorkshire's Lumb Bank. You can expect a day of connection, insight and networking to fuel your writing career through the winter and into 2027. Tickets are £25 to include a light vegetarian lunch - please join us, fellow alumnae from the Prize and industry contacts to discuss finding an agent, freedom in writing, navigating publication, media training and more. Limited free bursary tickets are available on request.

How to find Lumb Bank:

If you're driving the correct postcode for satnav is HX7 7EU. Please note that there is no parking on site, except where access arrangements have been made.
If you're travelling by train, you can take a taxi, Uber or bus to Heptonstall. Please note that taxis and Ubers won't drive all the way down the lane to Lumb Bank and may drop you at the bus stop instead. From there, it's a short walk downhill to the house.
