The Young Bones Strong Future talk raises awareness of bone health in young people, focusing on the causes and risks of low bone density, focussing particularly on female adolescent athletes. It explores key topics such as nutrition, energy balance, and Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (REDs), highlighting how lifestyle choices impact both performance and long-term health. The session also helps pupils recognise early warning signs and develop habits that support strong, healthy bones.
