Machine Dreams & Sun Beams: Launch
Anglepoise Suite, B97 4HA, B97 4HA
Thursday 9th July 2026
Join us for an evening to celebrate a new artwork Machine Dreams & Sun Beams, inspired by one of Redditch's adopted sons: Sir Eduardo Paolozzi. Commissioned by University of Birmingham, Kingfisher Centre, Arts in Redditch, and Reimagine Redditch, the new artwork pays tribute to Paolozzi's original work and reimagines it with Redditch people's ideas, following years of consultation and consultation in Redditch.
This event officially launches the new artwork and includes a series of talks about the project, the Paolozzi Mosaics, and to hear from artist Alec Saunders, as well as a performance by Spoz. Following the talks, guests will go to the installation opposite Vue Cinema for the formal launch.
