Seed Sessions: VARIETY SHOW - The Lurxx, Sugar Darling, Glitterwound, Jenny's House Band & Sythe
The Tea Bar, Basingstoke, RG21 7NT
Sunday 17th May 2026
So, you have had themed nights, but what about a line-up so crazy, you don't know where to look!?
We know festival season is around the corner, and so we thought- why not put a whole load of nonsense on the same night, festival style, multi-genre, and a bit bizarre!
So, this May, we are treating you with:
Nature Warrior Glam Punk:
The Lürxx- Nature Warrior Glam Punk: radical optimism, anti-speciesism, and high-energy activism with punk attitude and unusual twists (yes… recorder solos). Bold lyrics, big energy — soundtrack to the revolution.
Prog Rock, Art Rock, New Wave:
Sugar Darling- Sugar Darling are gonna ROCK ya SOCKS off!! These boys are full of BEANS!!
Disco-Latin-Funk:
Glitterwound- Glitterwound are an 8 piece disco-latin-funk-metal extravaganza. Unapologetically jumping from four-to-the-floor bangers to apocalyptic breakdowns, latin claves to sexy r’n’b, funk etudes to hardcore punk, indecision is their secret weapon.
Alternative Rock:
Jenny's House Band- Jenny's House Band are a rock band on the Hampshire/Surrey Border. Drawing from influences such as Manics, The Replacements, and Gomez. Their melodic brand of rock music resonates with the human soul and rejects robotic core.
Death Metal:
Sythe- Forged in the shadows , Sythe are carving their own path through the underground death metal scene. They deliver a sound that’s both merciless and immersive. Their debut EP, “Relentless Pain and Suffering” , stands as a vicious introduction to what the next chapter will bring.
So, if you are one of those "I like all music" types, come and prove it!!!
Ticket price includes a booking fee.
Tickets are £1 extra on the door- buy in advance for the best price.
