Work In Progress - Salma Habib Lyons - Godalming Fringe Day

Salma is a British-Pakistani stand-up determined to be the first working class parent on her East End street to own a kitchen island. Join her for stories of spats with her formidable Muslim mother (who thinks she's holier than Christ) and her husband's raucous Irish-Catholic family (who definitely aren't). A fearless and refreshing new voice in comedy. So You Think You're Funny Semi-Finalist. Komedia Semi-Finalist. Spirit Comedy Semi-Finalist. WestEndWomen Comedy Finalist. 'Salma lulls an audience in with her persona and blindsides them with killer punchlines' (West End New Act of the Year Award).
