🦃Mildenhall Droves 10 Mile Social Run

This is a social group run following the routes of some of Mildenhall and Lakenheath's ancient droves.  Our Run Leaders will accompany the group on a ten mile loop to make sure everyone makes it back safely and the group will be split into smaller groups along the way depending on the speed of the fastest and slowest participant, each with their own Run Leader.  There will be stops along the way to admire the scenery and to chat, and there'll also be drinks and snacks at the end for the post-run discussions.  No chip timing, no medals, no pressure!  Participants should leave with renewed enthusiasm for trail running, and with new friends.
Free parking at the start/finish. Sorry, but the route is not suitable for buggies or wheelchairs.  Unless it's very wet, road shoes will be fine.  No headphones as we need to be alert to any vehicles, including farm machinery, using the droves, and we like to encourage participants to chat.
This event is part of the Brecks Outdoor Festival, organised by our partner the Brecks Landscape Partnership, which celebrates the unique landscape across Norfolk and Suffolk with two weeks of curated outdoor activities, including guided walks, cycling, running, yoga, and nature-based events.
