Wee Film Club (U) | The Tiger Who Came to Tea
Robert Burns Centre Film Theatre, Dumfries, DG2 7BE
Saturday 28th November 2026
The Wee Film Club aims to create a great first cinema experience for very young children.
We start with a story or sing-along followed by an half hour screening of short films or TV episodes for really wee ones.
The Wee Film Club is probably best suited to pre-school age children, but we find older and younger siblings have just as much fun!
All sessions are delivered by musician Emily Murray, unless otherwise stated.
The Tiger Who Came To Tea
A beautiful, hand-drawn animation based on the bestselling classic by Judith Kerr.Much-loved story of Sophie and her mummy’s unexpected visitor – a mysterious tiger who turns up and invites himself in for tea. They can only watch in fascination as the tiger eats not only their tea, but everything else in the house!
