Paint & Plate Night in Memory of Blue
Join us for a special family community paint night to honor the life and spirit of Blue, our beloved 2015 Thoroughbred gelding, who recently passed away. Blue was originally donated to Project Comeback by Godolphin Racing after an early retirement from the track. He grew exceptionally tall very quickly, which shortened his racing career and left him with a neurological condition called Shivers, similar to Parkinson’s Disease in humans, which caused his hind legs to “shiver” or shake.
Despite his condition, Blue lived a vibrant and comfortable life, thanks to gentle exercise, regular chiropractic care, and holistic healing practices. We want to celebrate his legacy and his journey with you as we come together to paint, enjoy delicious food, and support other horses in need.
Event Details:
• What: Paint & Plate Night – guided painting session with Mary Murphy from the Greater Fall River Art Association, accompanied by a taco bar.
• Where: Glass House Cafe, 524 S.main st Fall River Ma.
• When: 11/30/2024 5pm
All proceeds from this event will go directly to Project Comeback to help cover Blue’s medical expenses.
Come remember Blue with us, create something meaningful, and contribute to a cause dedicated to helping other horses in need.
