Belle is a bright, kind-hearted young woman who longs for adventure beyond her quiet village. When her father is imprisoned in a mysterious castle, Belle bravely offers herself in his place. But the castle is home to a frightening Beast, who has been cursed and can only become human again if he learns to love and be loved before the last petal of an enchanted rose falls.
As Belle and the Beast get to know one another, they discover that there is much more to each other than meets the eye. With the help of a host of magical and unforgettable characters, they begin to understand the true meaning of kindness, courage and love.
But the Beast's curse is not the only danger. Back in the village, the boastful Gaston is determined to make Belle his wife and will stop at nothing to get what he wants.
Can Belle see beyond the Beast's frightening appearance? Can the Beast learn to open his heart? And can the magic of the enchanted castle be broken before it is too late?
