| Following a well received screening at The Harris in April, this is another opportunity to see this new thirty minute film exploring Preston’s iconic bus station. Gloria Regonesi is an Italian filmmaker working across Europe. Explaining how she came to make the film she has written; ‘I think this building is fantastic, and that's why I made a documentary about it. But what started as a gesture of appreciation for its beauty turned into an exploration of the humanity that inhabits the station.’ The screening will include a short introduction exploring the enduring and widespread appeal of this controversial yet spectacular structure. Afterwards there will be an opportunity to participate in a short discussion about Gloria’s work. |
