Assessment of Acute Scrotal Pain in Children & Young People Study Day

Are you a Medic, Nurse Practitioner/ACP or Health Professional working in Urgent & Emergency Care or Primary Care who may assess children and young people attending your service with acute scrotal pain?
If so, please join our training and awareness session.
Sessions to include:
•GIRFT Testicular Torsion Pathway- What is the National consensus and how does that apply in our region
•How is best practice achieved?
•Appropriate triage of testicular pain using Manchester Triage System
•Appropriate examination and assessment of acute testicular pain including differential diagnosis
•TWIST Score workshop- with scenario-based examples
•Use of Ultrasound/POCUS in assessment of testicular pain
