Open Evening for Year 7 Entry
Pate's Grammar School, Cheltenham, GL51 0HG
Tuesday 29th September 2026
Please note this event is aimed at children who are currently in Year 5, looking at options for Year 7 entry in 2028.
We welcome you to our Open Evening for Year 7 Entry to explore our school and meet our students and staff team. We will be delighted to share Pate’s life with you and answer your questions about the entrance test and joining Year 7.
Our Headteacher Dr Richardson will host Welcome Talks at 5pm, 6pm, 7pm.
If you intend to join the 7pm talk, we recommend you arrive in time to tour the school before the talk as the event finishes at 8pm, so there is not much time to see the school site after this final talk has ended.
If you need to amend/cancel your booking or have any specific access requirements, please email [email protected].
Parking: Parking is likely to be available on site, subject to weather conditions.
For alternative parking, please use Coronation Square Car Park, GL51 7RG.For more information about this car park click here.
We look forward to welcoming you to Pate’s Grammar School.
