Prokofiev & Bruckner

Prokofiev's popular, sparkling Piano Concerto No. 3 with soloist Enoch Wong is complemented by the magnificence of Bruckner's 'Romantic' Symphony.
Programme
Prokofiev – Piano Concerto No. 3Soloist: Enoch Wong (piano)
Bruckner – Symphony No. 4, 'Romantic'
Prokofiev's lush and fiery popular third piano concerto is full of crackling energy and playfulness. Our soloist is Enoch Wong, an outstanding young pianist noted for his technical brilliance and poetic conviction.
Bruckner's 'Romantic' symphony captures the magnificence of the medieval natural world and of the spirit of knights hunting, but it also speaks of the nature of human existence in ways that are no less relevant to us today.
