SONGS FROM THE HEART

The Mearns Singers (conductor Irene Watt) are a community choir from the land between the Grampians and the east coast of Scotland, a landscape of rolling fertile farmland, with coastal villages with a fishing tradition. One of their songs is based on Sunset Song, while others come from the sea, among them the Unst Boat Song and Partans in his Creel, and there are songs from other lands as well.
