THE LAST QUIZ NIGHT ON EARTH by Alison Carr
The Adelaide Upstairs, London, TW11 0AU
Thursday 4th February 2027 7:45PM
The Last Quiz Night on Earth combines theatre with a real pub quiz.
The world may be ending but there’s still time for the final round - In Alison Carr's brilliantly funny play, with the end of the world imminent and unavoidable, a group of pub regulars get together at their local for one last quiz night. Drinks flow, questions are asked, and secrets and dreams rise to the surface as everyone counts down to apocalypse.
Funny, fast-paced and surprisingly moving, The Last Quiz Night on Earth is a comedy about friendship, competition and what’s left when there’s nothing left to lose. Tables for dinner can be booked in advance but food cannot be taken into the performance (https://www.theadelaide.co.uk/menus). Drinks are available and can be taken into the play.
The production stars Amber Celeste Nixon, Helen Geldert, Jasper Loxton and John Wilkinson.
The Last Quiz Night on Earth is directed by Harry Medawar and is an amateur production by arrangement with Nick Hern Books.
