The Grand Tour of Song
Join Countertenor Mark Fletcher and Tenor Gyaan Lyon on a Musical Grand Tour of Song. We start our journey in the British Isles with songs of hope and glory then set sail to Venice Italy to explore the song of cathedrals and the beginning of Grand Opera.
Arriving at our destination of the two Kingdoms of Sicily where the dance of the tarantella and the romantic songs of longing and joie de vivre were born. Countertenor Mark, whose exceptional voice of power and beauty teams with young tenor Gyaan Lyon whose impressive voice and exuberance betray his physical limitation of right sided hemiplegia. Together they create a unique musical potpourri of history as they embark on a musical journey that will thrill, entertain and warm your hearts.
Doors Open 7:00pm
Recital 7:30pm – 8:15pm
Interval 8:15pm – 8:35pm
Recital 8:35pm – 9:20pm
