Watercolour Class: Northern Lights
Shipley Art Gallery, Gateshead, NE8 4JB
Saturday 13th February 2027 10:30AM
A watercolour class focused on the Northern Lights.
Discover the quiet joy of watercolour painting in this gentle, hands-on workshop with artist Nici Christina (Skyeblomma).
Working in a loose, expressive style, you’ll explore how water, pigment and movement come together to create an atmospheric painting of the Northern Lights.
Nici will guide you step-by-step with a short demonstration before you dive into painting with guidance and encouragement along the way.
This class is about slowing down, enjoying the process, and letting your brush lead - perfect for beginners and everyone wanting to reconnect with the joy of painting.
By the end of the session, you’ll leave with your own beautiful artwork and the confidence to keep painting.
