Newent Christmas Lights Market November 2026
Market Square, Gloucestershire, GL18 1AH
Saturday 21st November 2026 2:00PM
Our Christmas Lights Market is one of the big events of the year in Newent: where the town comes together to welcome in the festive season.
This year's theme is "Christmas in Paradise" for a tropical twist on a traditional Forest Christmas.
Festivities start with the opening of the market and live entertainment, Santa's grotto, snow machine and fairground rides from 2pm.
As darkness falls our lantern parade makes its way through the town centre to the market square for the grand Christmas Lights switch on.
The market and street entertainment finish at 7pm
This year market stalls will be in the heart of the action around the Christmas tree and stage in Market Square (closed to traffic for the event) and in the fairground.
We welcome a wide range to traders to this popular market, please book early to avoid disappointment.
