New Currents Festival 2026

New Currents Festival is a day-long festival celebrating the freshest music from the East Midlands. Our mission is to serve the community of which we are a part in three ways:

• We support local artists and local music.
• We give back to local causes.
• We provide an incredible, accessible day of entertainment for the local public.

Tickets are free to this event. However, we do ask that, where possible, attendees donate to our charity partner when they come to the festival in lieu of a ticket fee. Our intention though is not to pressure attendees, and it is important to note that we operate a No One Turned Away For Lack Of Funds (NOTAFLOF) policy.

Attendees under the age of 18 are welcome if accompanied by a responsible adult.

Doors open at 12:00 (noon).
