Home Education Workshop - Forest Adventurers (approx 4yrs-8yrs)

A welcoming workshop for home educating families to discover the New Forest in a relaxed and informal space using our resources, museum and collection. Come along, meet and chat to other Home Educating families while your children (aged between approx. 5-8yrs) can explore the topic through stories, a workbook and a creative/craft activity based on the module. The group sizes are small (up to approximately 7 children) and all activities are optional.

This workshop is all about the beginning of the New Forest. Each participating child will receive their own copy of the professionally printed educational booklet for the module with activities which can be used during the workshop and then at home afterwards to extend learning. The session is led by our Learning and Education Facilitator who is available throughout the workshop to help support you and your children.

Alternatively, if you and your child prefer to learn independently or are unable to make the workshop then you can purchase the booklet separately to use at home for £6.95. Please email [email protected] to place a 'booklet-only' order.

Children must be accompanied by an adult and remain the responsibility of the parent/carer at all times. Places are limited so please book separately for each child. Tickets are £7.95 per child which includes the booklet to take home (accompanying adult is free of charge).
