Play in a Day
The Clubhouse Theatre, South Croydon, CR2 9AS
Saturday 19th September 2026
Following the success of our 24hr Musical in 2023 - we knew we wanted to put this back on the map but thought it would be great to offer the experience to our membership who are keen actors, but perhaps don't fancy the 'musical element' as much. So a Play-in-a-Day was concocted!
We are giving ourselves another 24hrs to do this but this time we are treating ourselves to a little sleep mid-way through!
The play choice is fluid currently, dependiing on how many sign up. It will either be a full two-act play with one cast or it may be 2x one-act plays with 2 casts (but who knows - some people may be in both!) The directors have several options on the table but a decision will not be made until the sign up closes.
We are looking to stage a comedy rather than a serious heavy gritty show.
To join us, you will need to do two things:
You can make your payment here by purchasing a ticket, but you will also need to fill in the sign up form here. A link to the form will also be included in your 'ticket' from Ticketsource.
Tickets to watch the Play in a Day performance(s) will be released shortly before the event with cast and crew offered one ticket each initially, and any spares being offered later.
