Miller Magic Big Band Remembrance Concert

The Miller Magic Big Band will be presenting a night of live Big Band Swing, to comemmorate Remembrance Day, on Saturday the 7th of November at 7pm, at the Millfield Bar and Retaurant in Broughton, near Brigg, DN20 9FL. Established in 2012, with band members drawn primarly from RAF Music Services and the Sleaford Concert Band, and inspired by the music of Glenn Miller, Miller Magic is more than just Miller! It's the Lincolnshire based big band performing the swing music of the 1940s to the 1980s from some of the Big Band Greats such as Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Tommy Dorsey, Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, Artie Shaw, Woody Herman, Ted Heath, Stan Kenton and many more!

As well as the fantastic 17 piece Big Band, there will also be vocals from the amazing Laura King and if you feel like a dance, that's ok with us.

To this day the band continues its proud assoiation with HM Forces with over half of the current band being RAF or Army veterans.
