Kevin J Weddle, Tom Cutterham and Robert Cowley: The American War of Independence

Authors Kevin J. Weddle, Tom Cutterham and Robert Cowley explore pivotal moments of The American War of Independence.  In The Compleat Victory, Kevin offers the most authoritative history of the Saratoga campaign to date, explaining with clarity why events unfolded the way they did. In early 1777, after two years of indecisive fighting, the outcome of the American War of Independence hung in the balance, and the British were determined to end the rebellion with what they believed was a war-winning strategy. Tom Cutterham’s Empire Ablaze delves into the fierce conflicts that shaped empires and nations. Robert Cowley, an independent American scholar and a native New Englander, is the founding editor of MHQ: The Quarterly Journal of Military History and an authority on the wars of his country.  He will discuss the importance of individual human action in the outcome of the American Revolution. Chaired by John Jefferies.
