In the remote South Korean village of Hope Harbour, wildfires cut communication with the outside world just as a mysterious creature begins wreaking havoc. Police chief Bum-seok and rookie officer Sung-ae move to investigate, while a local hunting party led by Sung-ki heads into the forest to track the beast, only to find themselves the ones being hunted. As panic spreads and perceptions blur, what starts as small-town ignorance and human conflict spirals into a tragedy of cosmic proportions in an epic sci-fi thriller.

Starring Hwang Jung-min, Zo In-sung, Hoyeon, Alicia Vikander, Michael Fassbender

REVIEWS
"... a glorious genre romp that contains more magnificent moments in its opening act than most do in their entire runtime." Chase Hutchinson, TheWrap

"Pulls you in immediately with its virtuoso camerwork, pulse-pounding score, adrenalized pacing and sharply drawn characters." David Rooney, The Hollywood Reporter

"There is some top-quality entertainment value on offer here from a movie which can only intensify the world’s K-obsession." ★★★★ Peter Bradshaw, The Guardian

"It’s an endless pleasure to see such exceptional, careful, considered filmmaking applied to such a gleefully generic set-up." Jessica Kiang, Variety
