FREE Family Film
Melksham Assembly Hall, Melksham, SN12 6ES
Sunday 20th December 2026
RATING: 12A
This half term, enjoy a free screening of a great family film at one of the largest screens in Melksham.
Offering a relaxed atmosphere, our family films are open to everyone and are especially suited to those who enjoy a more informal, flexible cinema experience.
Our film licence doesn't allow us to advertise the film title publicly, but we are happy to share it if you get in touch. The easiest way to find out the latest film title is to email [email protected].
As a clue, it's a wonderfully eccentric festive fantasy where nothing is quite what you expect. Can you guess the film?...
Children are welcome to sit on the floor, move around, make noise, and come and go as needed during the film. The hall has flat, level access, and toilets, including an accessible toilet, which are located just outside. If your child or group has additional needs and there is anything we can do to make the screening more comfortable or enjoyable, please let us know. We would be happy to discuss any adjustments that might help. Where appropriate, we may also be able to arrange a special screening for a child or group who may still find even a relaxed environment challenging.
Best of all, our films are completely free for everyone to enjoy! We usually have popcorn and sweets available too, subject to staffing, with a suggested donation of 50p per portion.
Any donations go towards keeping refreshments affordable at our future free film events. The donation is entirely optional – we want every child to be able to enjoy a treat with the film.
