Maynooth University Musical Society presents 'Spring Awakening'
Aula Maxima, Ireland, W23 DD4R
Tuesday 14 April 2026 - Saturday 18 April 2026
Maynooth University Musical Society is incredibly proud to present Spring Awakening! Coming to the Aula Maxima Theatre, from the 14th to the 18th of April 2026.
A tale of innocence, exploration of sexuality and the turmoil that comes with growing up, all brought to life through compositions by Duncan Sheik and gripping lyrics, and narrative, by Steven Sater. A group of teenagers – silenced and controlled by a censorious society – discover a new world of feeling and freedom with beautiful and devastating consequences.
We at MUMS are beyond excited to bring this show to our stage, as its beautiful story gets told for the 20th year since it's debut in 2006.
Directed by Sean Mac Mathúna, Choreographed by Joe Keane, Musically Directed by Enda Keating and Produced by Katie-Mai Mooney, this is definitely not a show to be missed!
Get ready to explore The Bitch of Living.
Please be aware that this show is strictly 17+, with people from the age of 16+ admitted alongside an adult. Sensitive subjects of sexual content, violence, mental health (suicide), abuse and abortion are explored throughout the show. Audience discretion is advised.
