ADHD Training - A general introduction

Online
Wednesday 15th July 2026 - Wednesday 18th November 2026
Matthew's Hub is a Hull-based charity supporting autistic adults and young people, and those with ADHD. One of our aims is to raise awareness of how best to support neurodivergent individuals and we do this through training and workshops.
We firmly believe that an academic understanding of theory is vital, and that there is nothing like training delivered from a lived experience. For this reason, our training is written and delivered by neurodivergent staff.

We cover topics such as:
  • what is ADHD
  • myth busting
  • traits and how they present in everyday life
  • attention/hyperactivity/impulsivity
  • executive functioning
  • and much more
This general introduction session is designed for anyone interested in learning more about ADHD. It is suitable for individuals considering a diagnosis, those who have already been diagnosed, as well as family members and friends of ADHD adults. The session includes general examples drawn from lived experiences.

This session is free for those living in Hull & East Riding, there is a fee for those living outside the region.

This training takes place online and a meeting link will be provided closer to the scheduled event.

Matthew's Hub are a charity based in Hull supporting people in the Hull & East Riding of Yorkshire area.
