Queer History Clubbing: framing the night, making a scene
The Oculist, Brighton, BN1 1AN
Friday 2nd October 2026 8:00PM
Photoworks Festival x Queer Heritage South present: Queer History Clubbing: framing the night, making a scene
Join Queer Heritage South and Photoworks for a one-off immersive, queer club night , as we launch Photoworks Festival.
We’ll be joined by four legendary club photographers, and a line-up of DJs to create a clubnight transporting us through decades of sound and vision, from queer clubbing in Brighton & Hove across the last forty years.
Dance the night away with Xan (Gal Pals), Fat Butcher and Dykes on Decks. Visuals and archive photography from LadyPat and Boogaloo Stu, Alonglines Photography, Real Brighton, and Wild Fruit archive.
Our last party was a night for the history books: 500 queers taking over Brighton & Hove Museum! Don’t miss our next party as Queer History Clubbing: framing the night, making a scene is coming.
Book your ticket today to avoid missing out!
