Nativity! The Musical
The Carnegie Theatre, Workington, CA14 2BD
Saturday 28th November 2026 7:30PM
Returning to The Carnegie Theatre Workington for the perfect festive slot, MAODS On Stage are proudly bringing The West End to West Cumbria once again with the festive family musical... Nativity!
Based on the hilarious and heart-warming British film, Nativity! The Musical follows the story of Mr Maddens, a primary school teacher who finds himself in charge of the school’s Christmas play. With the help (and chaos) of his enthusiastic but eccentric teaching assistant, Mr Poppy, they hatch a plan to make this the biggest Nativity ever – complete with the rumour that a Hollywood producer is coming to watch.
What follows is a laugh-out-loud, feel-good family musical filled with catchy songs, lovable characters, and more sparkle and shine than you can imagine. Featuring hits like “Sparkle and Shine,” “Nazareth,” “She’s the Brightest Star,” and the gloriously chaotic "One Night, One Moment" this is a full-on festive spectacle bursting with laughter, music and the kind of Christmas magic only Nativity! can deliver.
This is the perfect festive night out for families, friends and anyone who loves a big hearted story, with show stopping tunes.
