George McLeod - Project Photography
George is hugely creative building his own scenes that are top quality. It should be an entertaining talk as his portfolio is quite different from other people’s.
George is a photography obsessive, he built his first darkroom in his father’s attic when he was 17 and went on to study photography at Nottingham Trent Uni, graduating in 2003.
Shortly after, he moved to London where he balanced work as a freelance retoucher, small music commissions and shooting his own fashion editorials.
It was during the pandemic he decided to focus on fine art photography full time, and was named the British Fine Art Photographer in 2022.
These days he might be better described as an artist working in photography, and he is now represented by MMX gallery in London.
George has started to shoot commercially again and he continues to pursue music purely for fun. He also has a two year old boy, which has inspired him to start writing a children’s TV show.
More on his work on his website https://www.georgemcleod.co.uk/
George will be presenting in person at the Cox Green Community Centre, Maidenhead, SL6 3AX 745pm for 8pm start.
