A festive fashion design and making workshop for young creatives aged 7–11!
Join us for an exciting three-hour Christmas workshop where children can explore their creativity, discover beautiful fabrics and trims, and design and personalise their very own festive tote bag to take home.

Age group: 7–11 years
Price: £35 per child

What will your child create?
Each young designer will receive a ready-made tote bag to transform into their own unique Christmas creation!
Children will have the opportunity to explore a wonderful selection of festive fabrics, ribbons, decorative trims, beads, sequins, glitter, fabric pens and heat-transfer embellishments.

About your workshop leader
Made By Me is led by a qualified secondary school Design and Technology teacher specialising in fashion and textiles, with a professional background in fashion design.
My aim is to inspire, motivate and challenge young creative minds by bringing exciting, hands-on fashion and textiles experiences into the local community.
Through designing, modelling ideas and making, children will develop creative confidence, explore new techniques and enjoy the satisfaction of creating something truly their own.
Safety and supervision
Workshops are limited to just 10 children to provide a supportive, small-group experience.
Children will receive a health and safety briefing, clear demonstrations, visual instructions and individual guidance throughout the session.
Activities will primarily involve hand sewing and fabric decoration using age-appropriate tools and materials. Sewing machines and heat equipment, where required, will be operated by the workshop leader for decorative finishing only.
Refreshments
A short refreshment break is included, with drinks and light snacks provided.
Please ensure that any food allergies, dietary requirements or relevant medical needs are clearly stated when booking so that suitable arrangements can be made. No nut policy.
Children can enjoy their lunch at home after the workshop.
