An Instrumental Journey by candlelight with Musica Medievalis

Join us at the beginning of Advent for a very special evening of music in the atmospheric setting of Lustleigh Church, a beautiful 13th-century church nestled in the heart of Dartmoor.

Virtuoso's Marco Cannavò and Steve Tyler present an instrumental journey through the music of medieval Europe, bringing to life the extraordinary sounds of a bygone age.

The programme features the hurdy-gurdy and its early predecessors, alongside harp, lute, citole, bladder pipe and percussion. Exploring melodies and rhythms from both sacred and secular traditions, the musicians combine historical sources with imaginative and virtuosic interpretation.
Surrounded by candlelight and the unique atmosphere of this historic church, this promises to be a memorable evening of music -  an atmospheric and captivating way to begin the Advent season.
