Londonomics Deep Dive: Exploring “Dark” Cancer Proteogenomics
GF MR1 Keith Peters Room; The Francis Crick Institute, London, NW1 1AT
Thursday 16th April 2026
In the third of our Deep Dive series, we welcome Dr. James Wright, Principle Bioinformatician at The Institute of Cancer Research (ICR), London.
This technical talk will introduce the proteogenomic data analysis methods, workflows, and applications used at the ICR. We will explore how proteomics and genomics datasets can be leveraged and combined in a multi-omics analysis; specifically in the identification and profiling of non-canonical “dark” cancer proteins and peptides.
Teas, coffees and light refreshments will be provided.
What is the Londonomics Network?
We are a network for Early Career Computational Researchers (ECCRs) who work at London institutions. We have four main aims: 1. Bring together the ECCR -omics community with targeted events and an inclusive online space; 2. Share knowledge and facilitate peer-learning; 3. Champion the research and achievements of our members and 4. Provide a platform for mentorship and career development.
