CARES Conference 2026: People Make Projects
University of Strathclyde Technology and Innovation Centre, Glasgow, G1 1RD
Thursday 19th November 2026 10:30AM
Join us for our next CARES conference which will take place in central Glasgow on Thursday 19 November 2026 from 10.30am to 6pm.
This conference is for your community organisation and will showcase the support available for you on your community energy journey. It will be full of inspiring stories and practical advice to help you progress your ideas towards impact.
Whether your community organisation is taking its first exploratory step, is wanting to build on the success of a current project, or is planning for succession, the conference will have something to offer you.
Keep an eye on our website for details of the agenda.
The conference is free to attend, but you must book your space in advance.
As part of your conference registration, please select the two afternoon sessions you are most interested in attending. We will do our best to accommodate preferences, and session allocations will be confirmed by email closer to the event. For more information on each session, please see the descriptions on our events page.
Please note, the conference is primarily for communities with an interest in renewable energy. Please do not book multiple spaces if you are not from a community organisation. If you book a space and are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as you can so that we can reallocate it. We want to avoid wasting public funds on unused places as well as food waste.
Keep up to date with conference updates by following us on social media - we're on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
