Ross Harries in conversation with Nigel Walker

Ross  Harries is a TV presenter, writer, and author who - like all lifelong fans - is incapable of stepping off the interminable rollercoaster that is Welsh rugby.

He's been the face of the sport in Wales for fifteen years, having presented the BBC's Scrum V for a decade, and been an integral part of the BBC's Six Nations output as well as Prime Video’s Autumn Nations Series coverage.

He is currently the lead anchor of Premier Sport’s coverage of the URC and Champions Cup, and a regular pitch-side presence on TNT Sport.

An accomplished writer, Ross has co-written the autobiographies of Adam Jones (Bomb), Jamie Roberts (Centre Stage) and Dan Biggar (The Biggar Picture) as well as Behind The Dragon, an oral history of Welsh rugby. All four were nominated for the Sunday Times/Cross Rugby Book Of The Year. He has a regular column with RugbyPass.

Born in Llantrisant, Ross grew up in rural Powys. He began his broadcasting career as a reporter and newsreader with BBC Radio Wales, before switching to television, where he worked as West Wales correspondent and presented the nightly news programme, Wales Today.

In his spare time Ross still dreams of being a rock star having spent much of his teens and early twenties playing guitar in various bands.
