Exclusive Preview Screening - The Fallow Few
Liphook Millennium Centre, Liphook, GU30 7HP
Thursday 29th October 2026
Discover The Fallow Few, an award-winning British First World War
Starring Tony Robinson, the film, based on a true story, unfolds on the Western Front in December 1916, a time when the average British soldier's life expectancy was six weeks.
The narrative follows Corporal George Hansen, who is offered an escape from the lethal front lines by his childhood friend, an Assistant Provost. The new role involves guarding British deserters before their dawn execution by firing squad. George leaps at the opportunity, but it isn’t long before shepherding broken teenagers to their officer-sanctioned murders crushes his spirit. As he forms a bond with one of those awaiting execution, George is forced to confront his own conscience and decide how far he is willing to go to save a fellow soldier.
Financed and filmed in Hampshire, the film returns to the county for an exclusive preview ahead of its wider cinema and on-demand release.
The evening includes a presentation and a live Q&A with members of the cast and crew — your chance to hear the stories behind the film and ask your questions.
