CESSAIR: The Birth of Ireland
According to Irish legend, when Noah—yes, that Noah—tells his granddaughter that there’s no room for her on the Ark, Cessair takes matters into her own hands. After a tumultuous journey aboard a discarded fleet, 39 women and her husband land on what is now known as Ireland. Fintan, realizing he is the lone man left, opts to become a salmon and swim away! Abandoned by her grandfather and her husband, Cessair then loses the woman she cares for most — her sister, Eva. Determined to bring her back, Cessair taps into the powers of ancient immortals and unleashes hell upon their island. She must right her wrongs to save Eva and her son, and to oversee the birth of a new country.
