Moon Monsters Workshop

Cullompton Library, Cullompton Devon, EX15 1DJ
Thursday 6th August 2026 11:00AM
Calling all little monsters aged 6-11 and their grown-ups! Join Helen from Above Bounds Theatre and Laura Loft of Big Music Collective for a fun, relaxed sound and music workshop, where you can help us to decide what Moon Monsters sound like.
But what is a Moon Monster? They’re silly, fun creatures who live on the moon… and they love to eat everything in sight! As we begin creating our new theatre show for children, Moon Monsters, we’d love your help to bring these monsters to life. Moon Monsters is a story which has been created by children & their families in Devon, with over 800 workshop engagements to generate the idea so far and with your help, we’re hoping to bring the story to life later in 2026.

What to expect?
During the workshop, we’ll play some games together, and then, play with some instruments and digital software to start to create some noise! This is a workshop for children aged 6-11 and their accompanying adult/s to join in together. Tickets are available online or from the library. Each child taking part in the workshop must have a ticket bought for them. Adults accompanying children don't need a ticket but must stay with children at all times. Children under 3 are expected to sit on parents laps and will not need a ticket.
