Summer Printmaking Workshop with Double Elephant's Simon Ripley
Kingsbridge Library, Kingsbridge, TQ7 1EB
Thursday 13th August 2026
Come to Salcombe Library and learn how to print with Simon Ripley from Exeter’s Double Elephant Print Workshop.
We will be printing mono prints and collagraphs on the Summer Book Quest theme of Transport.
We will be cutting new shapes from cardboard based on the theme and using ready made examples to print delightful scenes in multiple colours. You will use their printing press to make unique and vibrant images. Inking up your cardboard collagraphs and printing onto paper to make multiple examples of your ideas realised in print.
Great for all ages from 5 years and up - come with your friends and family and share in the fun!
Limited Tickets available: £3 per child for library members and £5 for non members
All children will need to be accompanied by an Adult.
Simon Ripley is a Devon based printmaker and creative facilitator and Founder Director of the Double Elephant Print Workshop. Simon specialises in community, participatory printmaking and encouraging others to find their own interpretations of life through printmaking.
