Samuel Beckett Omnibus: The End is in the Beginning

Exeter Library, Exeter, EX4 3PQ
Saturday 5th September 2026
For one night only, experience a  brush with Beckett, his characters, and their words. An entertaining & fast-paced remix from the brilliant Living Room Theatre, that includes 16 of the writer's plays, prose, and poems. Back by popular demand before it tours internationally! This is the only chance to see the show again in the England

In this intimate, two-hander performance, you'll dive into the genius & surreal world of Beckett - both the comic and the tragic... Whether you’re discovering this Nobel Prize winner’s writing for the first time or deepening your Beckett knowledge, this theatrical showcase is an encounter not to be missed.

Sarah & Philip embody the endeavours of Beckett’s absurd and tragic characters; their struggle to exist, to remember, and most of all, their struggle out of silence towards speaking. This performance is an entertaining celebration of trying again, failing again, failing better..

For those interested there's also a free talk from Beckett Scholar Laura Salisbury the previous afternoon. More info here: https://www.ticketsource.com/librariesunlimited/failing-better-reading-and-performing-samuel-beckett/e-xmkdrg
