Harry Potter Celebration: The Triwizard Tournament at South Molton Library

Compete in the Triwizard Tournament at South Molton Library! We’ll be spending a full morning doing crafts and activities themed around the well-known competition. The activities include:

- Tricking the age line to put your name in the Goblet of Fire
- Decorating a magic wand
- Taking part in the first task and stealing an egg from a dragon!
- Decorating your dragon egg
- Diving into the second task and finding the missing students in the lake
- Having a feast at the Yule Ball with themed sweeties
- Navigating the hedge maze of task three
- Taking a winner’s selfie with the Triwizard Cup
- Meeting a real-life owl (from 11am to 12noon)!

You can also design your own Triwizard Tournament task on our competition sheets and leave it with us to be entered into our free prize draw. One lucky winner will take home a Buckbeak plush toy!

The event runs between 9.30am and 12noon and you can turn up anytime during this period. However, we would recommend giving yourself enough time to fully enjoy the activities/crafts. The owl will only be available for one hour.

Tickets are £1 for library members or £2 for non-members, with adults and under 3s attending for free. It is free to join the library and you can do in person or online. Tickets can also be bought in the library on the day itself.
