Maud Hummerston: The Storyteller of Leeds

Join us for this talk on the life and legacy of Maud Hummerston, first female librarian and first Children’s Librarian for Leeds Libraries. We will also explore the archival journey that researching her life has taken us on, as well as the wider Hummerston family and their connections to the city of Leeds.
